Lancaster University is a collegiate institution whose individual colleges provide accommodation for students. First years become part of their college community, supported by helpful staff on site. Halls have free Wi-Fi, kitchen and dining facilities, and communal areas. 24-hour security is also available on campus. Rooms have been adapted for students with disabilities in accessible halls.
Lancaster University is located in north-west England. It is close by the coastline of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales national parks. By train, Lancaster is just over 1 hour from Manchester or Liverpool or 2.5 hours from London, Glasgow or Edinburgh. Lancaster is well connected and easy to get to.
