A founding member of the Russell Group of universities, Southampton has a strong reputation for pioneering research in areas like engineering, computer science and health studies. Where is it located?
The university has five campuses in Southampton, one in Winchester and one in Malaysia. The main campus is the Highfield campus, found to the north of the city and a short bus ride from the centre.
