Self-catered residences for both postgraduate and undergraduate students are in great locations, either within a short walk to campus, or close to public transport links for easy access to the university and city centre. Rooms offer shared or private facilities, with communal areas and social spaces. All residences have designated laundry rooms with some undergraduate accommodation featuring study zones, games areas and communal spaces. A range of accommodation is available to suit all budgets. Rent is inclusive of utility bills – heating, electricity and water charges (some exclusions apply). Free personal possessions insurance and Wi-Fi included as standard.

Fast road and rail links connect the city with the rest of the UK – Newcastle is around 3 hours by train from London. An international airport operates direct flights to multiple UK and worldwide destinations. A Metro system links the city, its airport, railway station, and popular student suburbs, as well as the beautiful coastline just 25 minutes away.
