I study Health and Social care. 

Why did you enter Clearing? 

The circumstances that led me to applying to university through Clearing, were not being able to complete my previous course due to health problems, and I got accepted here at Leeds Trinity through Clearing.  

My top tips for students leading up to results day are that exams aren't everything. Through Clearing, you still have the opportunity to achieve greatness, DON'T GIVE UP. 

What factors made you finally settle on the course you chose? 

I chose to go through Clearing at Leeds Trinity University because it was close to home and so welcoming. 

The first thing I did when I applied for Clearing, was looking on the Leeds Trinity website to see if I could go for the course I wanted. I rang them up and spoke to a lovely receptionist who transferred me to the Clearing line. They then helped me understand everything they were doing over the phone step by step and said that I should find out shortly. The Clearing process only took around 3 to 4 days to find out if I had a place and it was so clear and easy to do. So, apply for Clearing today, you still have a shot at getting that dream degree. 

Have you enjoyed your course and time at uni? 

No one knew I was here through Clearing except from certain staff. They allowed me to access support for any assignments or trouble I had during that time, which is still accessible now. All my lecturers were welcoming, and you will be supported through everything as a part of your course.  

During my course there have been challenges however, I have had the support of the university to face them and now succeeding on my way to completing my undergraduate degree one step at a time.  

I like this university because you can get involved in so much with lots of support. Also, Leeds Trinity is small and welcoming so you will be known by others if you want to be and achieve amazing things.
