Victoria found the perfect course for her through Clearing, Bangor made the process easy and relieved her nerves about not getting the results she'd hoped for.  

Hi, my name's Victoria, I'm in my fourth year. I'm from near Liverpool and I'm studying Law with Italian. I unfortunately did not get the results I was expecting. On the day I was very disheartened, I didn't know what to do, I didn't know who to call, and everything on the day feels very overwhelming, especially when something out of your control happens. 

How was your Clearing call?

The experience when I called up Bangor was a great experience, they were so helpful, they really relieved all my anxieties, all my nerves, they made me feel so much better about myself, when I was not feeling good that day. It was an overall great experience; I knew exactly what course I wanted to do, and they explained the process thoroughly, I understood everything that was going to happen. 

Why did you choose Bangor? 

I chose Bangor over other universities because it offered the exact course I wanted to do and it's so nice to be in nature as opposed to in a big city, which can be very intimidating for your first time away from home. At Bangor, you have a very supportive community around you, the teachers are super supportive.

How has your time at Bangor been?

You can make amazing friends through the societies, and there are so many societies to join. Bangor was the right choice for me, everything happens for a reason and obviously I didn't get into my first choice of university, but I don't regret my choice at all, I feel so happy here and I've had the best time.
