LSE partners with international and national organisations, charities, start-ups and local businesses so that all employers can access its students. LSE Careers' mission is to facilitate the transition from education to employment, supporting the development of the skills required to build and maintain fulfilling careers. They proactively source relevant opportunities and support graduates with their early career planning for up to five years after course completion. Popular employment sectors amongst LSE graduates include financial and professional services; accounting and auditing; government, public sector and policy; and consultancy.
LSE awards significant financial support to its undergraduate students. In recent years LSE has offered one of the most generous bursary packages in UK higher education. Awards include the LSE Bursary, the Undergraduate Support Scheme, the LSE Accommodation Bursary, and the Care Experienced and Estranged Student Bursary. There are also a number of scholarships funded by private donors, including the Uggla Family Scholars Programme.
