- Both the MEng and BEng degrees are accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), leading to chartered engineer (CEng) status.- You’ll have access to cutting-edge equipment, such as a rocket lab and a satellite ground station.- In Year 4 of the MEng degree, you’ll continue to deepen and broaden your expertise and undertake a major group design project. A specialist Space Mission Analysis and Design module will cover the design, cost, logistical and operational implications of space missions.- Our commitment to high quality teaching has been recognised with a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold rating. These courses are ideal if you’re interested in the design, construction and operation of aircraft and would like to extend your studies into space.You’ll examine the challenges of space flight and the benefits of using the space environment. You’ll study aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, dynamics and materials, the design of spacecraft, payloads and space dynamics, and will carry out a practical rocket design exercise.
